Welcome to Career Services and Co-op
The Career Services and Co-op team supports students to clarify their career paths, build essential employability skills, and develop their tool-kit for professional success. We provide Skill-building workshops, organize career fairs and networking events, develop relationships with employers in support of employment options for students and graduates, and support Thunderwolves to build their co-op, part-time, or graduate job search skills. Dig into these pages for on-demand resources, or come in to our offices to see us in person. We are here to help.
Our team is committed to supporting our diverse student body and are continuously making an effort to ensure that we provide an accessible and inclusive experience. We are open to any and all feedback to help us fulfill that commitment.
We respectfully acknowledge we are located on the traditional lands of Indigenous Peoples. Lakehead Thunder Bay is located on the traditional lands of the Fort William First Nation, Signatory to the Robinson Superior Treaty of 1850. Lakehead Orillia is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg. The Anishinaabeg include the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomi nations, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. We acknowledge the history that many nations hold in the areas around our campuses, and are committed to a relationship with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples based on the principles of mutual trust, respect, reciprocity, and collaboration in the spirit of reconciliation.
