"The clinical placement program allowed me to work in different hospital departments. It was a good experience having placements directly on the floor with experienced nurses to help build relationships and trust. Even now I work with some of my past professors in the hospital. Because they work in the profession while teaching, they are able to share their knowledge and understanding with students in the classroom. Lakehead made me see that education is not just a gateway to a job."
