The Senate Graduate Studies Committee and the Senate Graduate Scholarships and Bursary Committee will be dissolved and replaced by a Council of the Faculty of Graduate Studies that will be responsible to Senate.

Composition

Ex officio members:

• Vice-President Academic and Provost
• Vice-President Research
• Vice-President Administration and Finance
• Vice-Provost (Student Affairs)
• Associate Vice-Provost (Aboriginal Initiatives)
• Faculty Deans with a Graduate Program
• Senior Associate Dean West NOSM
• Director of Institutional Analysis & Government Relations
• University Registrar
• Chair, Senate Research Committee
• University Librarian
• LUSU V.P. Student Issues (non-voting)
• Calendar Officer (non-voting)
• Graduate Admissions Officer (non-voting)
• Graduate Funding Officer (non-voting)
• Manager, Graduate Studies (non-voting)

Elected Members:

• One Graduate Coordinator from each Graduate Program
  (elected by each graduate program)
• One Graduate Student from each academic Faculty with a graduate program
  (elected by all graduate students in each Faculty)
• Such other members as the Senate may, from time to time, determine

Organization:

• Chair - Dean of Graduate Studies
• Secretary - Manager, Graduate Studies
• Administrative Office - Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies
