Dr. Beatriz Valle

As a researcher from the Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization group at the University of the Basque Country in Spain, I am pleased to have been part of the Green Process Research Centre (GPRC) at Lakehead University for three months. My expertise in the catalytic valorization of biomass-derived bio-oil into hydrogen and biofuels aligns with the pioneering research in biorefining, lignocellulose valorization, and waste management conducted by this group. This opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Pedram Fatehi and his team in an exceptional research environment has enriched my professional background. It has also been a unique opportunity to experience the natural beauty and cultural diversity of Thunder Bay.
