Ring of Fire Conference

On October 30, 2015 CESME partnered with the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University to organize a conference on the Ring of Fire, a major chromite and Cu-Ni-PGE deposit in Northern Ontario. The conference featured three panels on "Sustainable Resource Development: Possibility or Pipe Dream?", "Duty to Consult: A Regional Approach?" and "Community Impact". The conference was a great success with over 180 registrants and some lively discussions!
