Join us in the Outpost and outside in the Library Courtyard at our Campus Fair to learn all about the great services and supports available at Lakehead University to help you succeed while studying at Lakehead!

Join us as we welcome our new Thunderwolves (and their supporters) moving into their new home away from home! Welcome and Support Services tables will be available around the Residence Building for you or your supporters to ask any questions you may have and campus tours will be available to help you learn how to navigate campus. We will also have we music and lawn games, and so much more!

The Fresh Market is a food security resource offered on the third Tuesday of each month (September to November; January to March). Learn more about the Food Resource Collective (Orillia) at lusu.ca/services-and-support/student-centres. You can also visit the on-campus Farm Lab at any time: https://farmlab.lakeheadu.ca/.

The Fresh Market is free and open to all students. Just grab a reusable bag or bring one and take what you need of the local fruits and vegetables! There is also the monthly Good Food Box, subsidized at a low cost of only $15. Visit LUSU for more information.

Bring a blanket and come join in your comfy clothes for an outdoor movie night! Participate in an opening trivia for prizes, grab a snack and drink at our concession stand, and enjoy a classic cinematic experience. Chairs will be provided but you are encouraged to bring your own lawn chair.

Open to all students, new or returning. Students are welcome to bring a support buddy or, for student parents, their children. No cost to participate.

Come celebrate Bi Visibility Day (marked annually on September 23) with a round of bingo with prizes led by the fabulous talents of Crystal Quartz, enjoy food and interactive fun, and be dazzled.

This is a 2SLGBTQ+ safer space. This is a dry event.

Open to all students, new or returning. All are welcome. No cost to participate. Faculty, staff, and non-students attending are encouraged to bring a donation to the LUSU Orillia Pantry. 

Featuring fun for all! Take a ride on the inflatable bouncy castle, jousting arena, and obstacle course or head over and give your try at the dunk tank to dunk an admin. Enjoy music, giveaways and prizes, a photo booth to capture the memories, and snacks like cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn. 

Check out the Clubs' and Community Fair at LUSU Fest to learn about student life and the local community. Plus grab free fruits and veggies from the student union’s Fresh Market, a part of the Food Resource Collective, and learn about your student union services! This is your big welcome to the students’ union.

Lakehead Orillia Athletics & Recreation are welcoming students back to campus at the 2024 Varsity Fall Kick-Off at the West Orillia turf field at 100 University Ave, Orillia, ON. The game time is 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 5th, 2024.
