MOVED that upon the recommendation of the Joint Senate Committee the Academic Calendar of Events - 2012-2013 Academic Year be approved.

MOVED that upon the recommendation of the Joint Senate Committee the proposed revisions to NOSM Phase 1 to 3 Course Descriptions, specifically for Northern and Rural Health (MEDS 5005, 5205, 5405, and 5606) and Personal and Professional Aspects of Medical Practice (MEDS 5425 and 5625) be approved.

MOVED that the proposed Joint Senate Committee for NOSM Terms of Reference be referred to the Senate Organization Committee.

Approval of Adjunct Professors

MOVED that the following Adjunct Professor for the Faculty of Engineering be approved:

· Dr. Timo Tiika be appointed as an External Adjunct Professor to the Department of Civil Engineering for the term July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2015

MOVED that the following Adjunct Professor for the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences be approved:

· Mr. Sacha Dubois be appointed as an External Adjunct Professor to the Department of Health Sciences for the term July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2015

Fall 2011 late additions to Graduands List (Ms. Brenda Winter)

The Senate's "Enabling Motion Graduands on Record" empowers the Dean of the Faculty and Registrar to approve late additions to the graduands' list who had not appeared on the convocation list.No motion is necessary. The list will be distributed at the meeting.
