Masoud, an international student from Shiraz, Iran, earned his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Lakehead University in 2019. During his time at Lakehead, he actively served the student body, including a term as the Lakehead University Student Union (LUSU) president. He also sat on the Alumni Association Board as a Director from 2019 to 2020.

With over 15 years of leadership experience spanning public service, political organizations, higher education, social services, and non-governmental organizations, Masoud has made significant contributions across sectors. Since graduating, he has held roles as LUSU President, part-time Faculty at Confederation College, and Constituency Case Manager and Director of Constituency Services in the office of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, MP for Thunder Bay–Superior North.

During his university years, Masoud was heavily involved in promoting diversity and inclusion, serving as LUSU’s Multicultural Centre Coordinator and Chair of the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) local committee at Lakehead. His initiatives earned him the 2019 Lakehead Leader Award and the 2020 Visionary Award for outstanding leadership as a young professional in Northwestern Ontario. He was also honored as one of the valedictorians at the Class of 2019 Convocation.

In 2023, after moving to Victoria, BC, Masoud founded Manzouri Immigration Inc., an immigration consultancy firm specializing in Canadian immigration and citizenship law. Through his firm, he helps individuals and organizations worldwide navigate the complexities of Canadian immigration processes.

In his personal life, Masoud is married to Mansooreh, "the love of his life." He enjoys hiking, fishing, and playing music in his spare time.
