Summerfest: A Multicultural Celebration

Join us for Summerfest 2024!

Dear Lakehead Community,

Organized by the Lakehead University Social Committee, Lakehead University International, LUSU, and the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, we are excited to invite faculty, staff and students to Summerfest: A Multicultural Celebration, a vibrant multicultural celebration in honor of National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21), Canadian Multiculturalism Day (June 27), and Canada Day (July 1). 

Join us in the Agora for interactive displays, delicious food, and engaging activities for all members of our Lakehead community!

Highlights:
- Outpost barbeque including multicultural dishes available for purchase.
- Games, prizes, and cultural events.
- Traditional/cultural attire encouraged.

Available for purchase will be items from a barbecue organized by the Outpost including multicultural dishes.

No RSVP is required. Please bring a non-perishable food donation for the LUSU Food Resource Centre if possible.
In case of rain, the event will be held indoors in the Agora.
