The second speaker is Cheryl Ogima. Cheryl is a student in the Master of Science in Management Accounting.

Cheryl Ogima. Cheryl was born and raised in Enoch Cree Nation, which borders the City of Edmonton, Alberta. She is and always will be a devoted Oilers fan. Cheryl received her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting in May 2020 and also completed the Graduated Diploma in Accounting in December 2020. She is currently employed with a local accounting firm, completing Capstone 1 and 2 while also completing the 30 month work experience required by CPA Canada.
Cheryl is married with four children and has numerous grandchildren. Cheryl's late father was a red seal Carpenter and her mother was a teacher’s assistant; both attended college. Cheryl's grandmothers were a strong presence in her life. Both offered traditional life lessons that are forever with her. She is proud to be an accountant.
