Airport Arrival Accommodation Application Form

Lakehead International offers free transportation from the airport to your accommodations for new international students who are arriving in Canada for the first time to begin their studies at Lakehead University (Thunder Bay, Orillia, or Barrie).

To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mix of shared shuttle buses and taxis, depending on your arrival time and location.

✅ Who Can Apply

You are eligible if:

• You are a new international student starting your first term at Lakehead University.
• You are arriving in Canada for the first time.
• You have already received your visa.
• You have already arranged your place to live (on-campus or off-campus).

Note: Returning students are not eligible for this service.

📅 Important Deadlines

You must submit this form at least 4 business days (Monday to Friday) before your flight to Canada.

If you submit late or without the required documents:

• You will not receive a transportation voucher in time.
• You will need to pay for your own transportation.

We cannot offer reimbursement.

1. Fill out this form below with your travel and accommodation details.
2. After submitting, the Lakehead International team will review your request.

We will send you all the pickup instructions by email, including a voucher or booking confirmation, depending on your arrival location.
