Brought to you by the Healthy at Home team- this will be a three-week live meal planning boot camp run by a Registered Dietitian. The sessions will be broken into three weeks focusing on topics such as meal planning, shopping and prepping.
Each week will include a live assembly-style (think burrito bowls or buddha bowls) cooking demo for students to follow along with and Q & A section with a Dietitian at the end of each session.
Sessions will be recorded and sent out to those registered after each session.
Students will also receive a shopping list, recipe ebook, key takeaways and tips, as well as Dietitian recommended apps and resources to help them maintain their success.

LKM is a meditation that focuses on being kind and loving to self first and foremost. We can extend it to being kind and loving to others as well, and the individuals themselves get to decide who they extend it to and if they wish to, but mostly it is about loving the self.

Supporting Students In Distress

As staff and faculty, you are often the first to recognize that a student is in distress so it is important that you feel equipped to identify these behaviours and also understand how you can help.  The Supporting Students in Distress Guide and accompanying workshop outline the various levels of distress and the resources you can provide for a student in each level of distress.  We will also cover available supports in various areas, both on and off-campus including Counselling and Wellness, Academic Services, Disability Services, Legal and Conduct, and Community Supports.

Registration required. Those who register will receive a recording of the event if unable to attend live. Grad student welcome.

Join Campus Rec instructor Nicole for a 50-minute lunchtime sweat session. Live over zoom, you can join in on this full-body workout that will help you with muscle building, flexibility, and overall mobility.

Equipment needed: All you need is space to move around, clothes you are comfortable moving around in, a water bottle, and a device that can connect to zoom! An exercise mat is recommended for comfort but not required.
