The Sexual Violence Response Policy has been updated! Are you prepared?

The Office of Human Rights and Equity will be holding an education and training session on the
updated Sexual and Gender Based Violence Response Policy. The training will be held Monday, June 25 from 1 to 3 pm in ATAC 3004.

Who should attend this training?

All staff and faculty or student supports at Lakehead University are strongly encouraged to attend.

What does the training cover?

The training will cover all aspects of Lakehead’s Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) Response Policy including:

• supportive responses to survivors who share an experience of SGBV
• supports and services available on campus for persons affected by SGBV
• staff/faculty responsibilities around tracking disclosures
• the University’s internal process for reports and complaints of SGBV
