Strategic Plan: Implementation

To achieve the goals laid out in the 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, Lakehead must adopt the Plan across both campuses and incorporate it into existing and emerging collaborations, working with faculty, staff, students, alumni and local, global and Indigenous partners.

To do this, we must be innovative.  We must build on the significant progress we have made to continue to move us forward while continuing to challenge ourselves and looking for opportunities for change.

Through the development of the Plan, we heard of the commitment from students, staff and faculty to continue to create the greatest impact they can for society and the communities we serve through learning, research and other scholarly and creative activity. Implementing and institutionalizing this Plan positions us all to further that commitment by asking several important questions including: What must we change? How are we going to do it? What outcomes should we expect? Leaders at all levels are important in this process.

Implementation of each of the Strategic Themes requires cross-functional collaboration.
