Gakina Nindinawemaaganag Lounge
The Thunder Bay campus has an Indigenous student lounge called Gakina Nindinawemaaganag Lounge, which means "all our relations" in Ojibwe. It is a hub for student activities throughout the year and a home away from home where students gather as a community.
About Gakina Nindinawemaaganag Lounge
The lounge offers an open and comfortable environment where Indigenous students can access a study area, kitchenette, computer work stations and laptops. In addition, we have a cultural room for individual or group sessions with our Elders-in-Residence Program.
