"I heard about Lakehead University from the University Fair held by my high school. I chose to come to Lakehead because of the partnership between my high school and Lakehead University. When I first arrived in Canada, I was impressed by the fresh air. People here in Thunder Bay are very nice and friendly.

I enjoyed doing labs because it gave me a chance to practice what we have learned during our lectures; and observing is the most interesting part during lab process. While studying at Lakehead I also began playing ultimate frisbee. It is one of the most important activities I do during my spare time. I first started playing frisbee when I was in high school. When I arrived at Lakehead University's Thunder Bay campus, I saw large areas covered by grass and that was the moment I realized I made the right decision. I made more friends through playing frisbee.

I appreciate that Lakehead University International Office cares about Chinese students. The International Office has prepared Chinese New Year Dinner for all the Chinese students, which totally wipes away my homesick feelings."
