Undergraduate Programs
Anthropology is the integrated biological and socio-cultural investigation of humankind, from the time of our pre-human ancestors to the present, and from small to large complex societies. Lakehead University offers a broad undergraduate program covering biological, archaeological, and socio-cultural anthropology, as well as more specialized concentrations on archaeological science, medical anthropology, and applied anthropology. The Department of Anthropology faculty members have regional and international research interests, including the Boreal Forest area, North America, Latin America, Africa, and Europe.
