The Department of Geology at Lakehead University offers both Undergraduate and Masters degrees in geology and environmental science. Courses offered by the department place a strong emphasis on ‘hands-on’ geology reflecting our location within the Canadian Shield.

Geology is quite simply the study of the earth. The Earth Sciences include:
