"Low Tech Prospecting Tips for Prospectors AND Geologists"
FRIDAY, MARCH 25, 2022
ZOOM EVENT
2:30 pm
If you are in the field and you come across a huge cluster of lady slipper flowers, orange lichen, distinctive green moss, or a mineral called jarosite - then you or your company should consider staking some extra claims because you could be standing on top of gold, base metals or diamonds. Learn about these and other prospecting tips given by 1974 Laurentian University graduate, Frank Racicot, who is a geologist with over 40 years of prospecting experience.
Biography:
Frank graduated from Laurentian University in 1974 and comes from a family of prospectors and geologists. He has worked as a geologist for various junior companies in every province west of the Maritimes as well as Nunavut and the Yukon. In the field he wears two hats leading mapping, drilling and stripping programs but also works as a prospector on specific properties or on a grass roots scale.
