Master of Health Sciences with Specialization in Social-Ecological Systems, Sustainability and Health

Specializations in the MPH and MHSc programs include a defined collection of courses taken from specific areas of study that complement the overall degree requirements. Note: The Specialization will be referenced on the transcript.

Applicants must indicate their areas of interest for a thesis when applying to the program. Admittance is dependent on faculty availability from among full-time faculty of the Department of Health Sciences.

Specialization Requirements

All students in the Master of Health Sciences program with Specialization in Social-Ecological Systems, Sustainability and Health must complete a total of 5 full-course equivalents (FCEs), of which 2.0 FCEs are required core courses, 1.0 FCE are elective courses, and the thesis carries a weight of 2.0 FCEs.
