1000 Miles Apart, ceramics conference 2015

Lakehead University Ceramics students attended the 1000 miles apart ceramics conference hosted by University of Manitoba this past week.

The 1000 Miles Apart Conference was first organized in 1989 by faculty and students from the University of Manitoba and Red Deer College in Alberta, hence the name: 1000 Miles Apart. Today, it includes four institutes in Western Canada, providing an excellent opportunity for artists to network and share ideas.

The conference presents a series of exhibitions, artists’ demonstrations, and presentations.
