Members of the Department of Gender Women's Studies miss and remember their dear friend and colleague Dr. Peggy Tripp, who passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Peggy made a huge contribution to both the creation and on-going development of the Gender and Women's Studies Program at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. She was very highly regarded by her Women's Studies students. We will all miss her compassion and wry wit.

Women's Studies mourns the passing of Margaret Phillips, Honorary Doctor of Letters, former member for the Women's Studies Advisory Board, strong local advocate for Women's Studies and women's rights, and owner of the Northern Women's Bookstore.
