Research Interests:
Madison completed both her undergraduate degree in English and Gender & Women Studies and her Master’s degree in English with a specialization in Gender & Women Studies at Lakehead University. She opted to write a major research project for her Master’s, exploring the constructions of class, gender, and constructions of monstrosity in Sweeney Todd (2007). Upon graduating from her Master's, she received the Dean’s Scholar Award for having the highest average in her department. She intends to conduct further research in the areas of cultural studies, gender, bodies, sexuality, and constructions of monstrosity and criminality and to continue to teach.
