Our congratulations to Dr. Jane Nicholas, Department of History, recipient of a Contribution to Teaching and Learning Award for 2009-2010. Please read the release on the Instructional Development Centre website for announcement of all the awards. 

 

Initiated in 2004, the Young Alumni Award is presented in recognition of a graduate who is 40 years of age or younger, and who has achieved significant accomplishments since graduation, either in his/her profession, sport or community service.  Those chosen will be an alumnus/a whose reputation, achievements or future potential will bring honour and prestige to the Alumni Association of Lakehead University. This year Dr. Michel S. Beaulieau was selected.

 

This year the career achievements and community contributions of four remarkable Lakehead graduates will be celebrated at the 2010 Alumni Awards Dinner.  The dinner will be held on Wednesday May 26th at 6pm.
