The 2024 College to University Transition begins with an Orientation on June 15-16, 2024, followed by your Transition courses from Monday June 17 - Friday Aug. 9, 2024.

The 2024 Engineering College to University Transition begins with an online Orientation held on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th.  The Orientation is a mandatory event designed for all new Engineering College Transfer students beginning their studies in the Summer 2024-2025. At the Orientation you will have the opportunity to join Engineering Clubs and Societies, meet Lakehead Engineering students, see Engineering Degree Capstone Project, hear about the accomplishments of our students, join the Student Membership Program of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), meet your Engineering Department Chair and receive academic planning advice. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Lakehead University, the City of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario.

2024 College to University Transition Course Schedule

All the 2024 Transition courses are offered online via Zoom with online tests, in-class quizzes, labs, participation exercises and online final exams. All tests and exams, as applicable, are held during the scheduled duration of each course.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL FINAL EXAMS IN THE 2024 ENGINEERING TRANSITION PROGRAM ARE NOW SCHEDULED ONLINE VIA ZOOM.

Monday, June 17 - Friday, July 12, 2024, Monday to Friday with classes also on Saturday June 22, June 29, July 6, & ENGI 3014 labs on Saturday July 13, 2024. All Times below are Eastern Standard Time (EST).
