Lakehead University, Orillia Campus, invites applications for a Contract Lecturer in the Department of Sustainability Sciences. Applications are requested to teach:
ENSU 1033 FAO – Intro to Environmental Sustainability (Orillia)

Start Date/Duration: Fall Term: September 1- December 31, 2024
Location: Orillia campus (no transportation will be paid)
Qualifications Preferred
PhD in Environmental Science, Biology, or Geography with teaching/research
experience in the relevant area at the post-secondary level. Candidates lacking
the specific degree qualification (e.g., ABD doctoral students), but who possess
an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications are
also encouraged to apply. Experience with experiential learning and online or
alternative modes of delivery is highly desired.
The Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies values and respects Indigenous traditional learning and knowledge and embraces various forms of teaching and learning where appropriate. Consequently, for Indigenous content focussed courses we will prioritize knowledge of Indigenous languages, community-based learning, and traditional knowledge above academic credentials, in the selection of candidates
